“So I haven't ran since I tore my ACL over a year and a half ago and I signed up for a 5k. This will be my first race. I AM SO NERVOUS. I am running with some friends but I haven't started running yet. Any tips or motivations?”
First of all listen to your body. Your injury was a while ago so understand that it is healed, so you don’t want to sike yourself out, but at the same time be aware of whats going on and take extra time to stretch and stuff. Don’t worry! You can do this. Just get going, since its your first race, don’t worry too much about times, just enjoy yourself! Happy running :D
