Product Review: CEP Compression Socks

I ordered these socks about 2 weeks ago, and just WOW. I can’t be 100% sure the change that happened in my legs was due to the socks, placebo effect, or I’ve just been having good days. The first day I ran with them I was flying, my legs felt like they had so much more energy. Since then, I have had a bunch more days where my legs were just feeling so much more peppy and alive. There was also one day that I didn’t feel like putting them on (its kind of a hassle…i’ll explain later) and my ankles started bothering me, so I’m not sure if my feet just got used to them? Or if I was just having an off day.

I wear them during my runs and usually for the couple hours after that it takes for me to finally get around into the shower. There is a special method to putting them on, since you can’t just put them on like normal socks because they are so tight. It takes an extra minute or so, and there are tutorials on YouTube.

Sizing doesn’t work like regular socks, you order by your calf circumference. I ordered within my range (I’m 14.5 and the range was 12-15), and they are fairly snug. They can be a bit pricey, but I found a new pair on Ebay in my size so scored a good price. They come in bright colors, but I ordered white seeing as my shoes are already neon.

All in all, if you are looking for a pick-me-up for your legs, to liven your running and help out your recovery I would say that they are definitely worth the price tag!
