Forget the Fountain of Youth, I'll take the...
I am going out for a run. Do I want to? No.   Do I need to?  Well, define need. Am I going to? Yes, because that’s what crazy people like myself who make New Years Resolutions to run every single day do. Ugh, why do I do this to myself?

with the 99 post, next time start with the 11 minute run (get your body nice and warm) and then start with the 11 set and work your way up to 99. that will give you a better idea of your endurance and how much you can handle comfortably, and what's a push. good luckkk

I admit...I'm addicted to saltines
I know, its not all that awful of a confession but it’s true.  They were my downfall, and although it’s not like it was something like chocolate I think that is why I rationalized it for so long.  I was able to say to myself ”oh, well it’s not like they are all that high in calories or sugar, or anything in general.”  And it’s true that they aren’t high in...

sam-lightyear-deactivated201103 asked: I'm a sports student in the UK and I think your blog is incredible.
I do enjoy running but I've developed a knee problem over the years from field hockey so too much running puts me in quite intense pain for 2-3 days post running.
But I'm going to give that 99 thing a go when I get a minute or thirty.

Satisfaction
There’s a great feeling of satisfaction at the end of the day when you turn down the fried chicken wings, or ice cream float, or whatever it was that was wafted under your nose, tempting you.  A satisfaction in knowing you are one step closer to where you want to be and one choice stronger than who you used to be. That is what I strive for.  Not for a gnawing feeling in the pit of a stomach...
